Gabi Powel

Gabi Powel is a pro long driver from West Palm Beach, Florida, and her channel is where she takes that game on the road. She calls her fans the G FAM, and the tagline is good vibes and long drives.

A golf scholarship took her to Florida International University, but COVID cut her college career short. She trained at ForeFront Golf and Fitness in Palm Beach Gardens and made long drive her game. "I don't know what I would do without golf in my life," she told WPTV.

The channel has been on YouTube since 2013 and has 610 videos, more than 21 million views and about 22,700 subscribers. Her most watched, a match against Big John that comes down to the last hole, has 90,000 views. Hailey vs Gabi and a long drive match play, Girls vs Guys, are close behind at 86,000 and 78,000.

Expect bombs off the tee, plus challenges: nine holes to break par at Diamante Cabo San Lucas, a scramble to break 28, a pro-am on the hardest course she could find. She also travels for it, and one video is a 9,000 mile flight to Vietnam for a golf trip. Her Shorts are mostly golf humor.

We featured her on October 13 for the Creator Cup Tour at PGA National, where she teamed up with Teal Barber, Hannah Golf and Robby Donovan for a four person scramble.
