MidAmGolfer

MidAmGolfer is Kish Israni, a mid-amateur golfer in Houston, Texas, who films his golf and puts it on YouTube. The channel name says what he is, and most of what he posts is a mid-am playing private clubs, tournaments and golf trips.

He started the channel in February 2025. Since then he has posted 178 videos, they have added up to more than 768,000 views, and 1,220 people subscribe. On Instagram, at @midamgolfer, he has about 27,000 followers.

A few of his videos give you the idea. "Is This the #1 NEW Private Golf Club in Texas?" has passed 13,000 views. In "I Played in the U.S. Am Tour National Championship" he plays a national event, and "We Won The Member Guest" is exactly what it says. Between the long videos he posts a steady run of shorts, from a Texas hill country drive to a top 10 list of Arizona courses.

What you get when you watch is golf from someone who plays a lot of it. He plays in the events, he shows you the club, and he tells you what he thinks of it. If you like seeing a course before you spend a weekend on it, he is a good one to follow.

We featured MidAmGolfer on October 24, the day after he posted a 43 minute video from Scottsdale National in Arizona. PXG invited him there for three days and a first look at its 2027 gear. He played the Bad Little Nine and The Other Course, and he got a custom PXG fitting. It's the video to start with.
